Honey is in the news for allegedly robbing influencers of affiliate commissions. So we created a Claybook to help you find promo codes without them.
Clay (Free) to find promo codes and their descriptions, values, and expiration dates
If you haven’t heard of Honey, it’s a free browser extension that finds promo codes to help you save money at checkout. Recently, Honey made headlines for allegedly scamming YouTubers out of their affiliate commissions.
The gist: Honey switched out their influencer partner affiliate links with their own affiliate link at checkout, then took credit for the sales and stole the commissions.
So I thought: Could I use Clay to help our users find promo codes at checkout?
Absolutely!
In this Claybook, all you need to do is input a website URL and Clay will find any active promo codes in seconds.
First, copy this template in Clay.
If you’re already a user, you’ll be directed to your workspace. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a free Clay account.
The interactive demos on the right will walk you through each step of this Claybook.
Next, just paste a website URL into the first column (include https://) and let Clay work its magic. The table will produce three promo codes (if they exist), along with a description, value, and expiration data for all three.
Save money at checkout without wasting time searching for promo codes.
Simply copy this template, follow the steps above, and let Clay work its magic.
If you have any issue, you can ask for help in Slack or schedule time with a Clay expert.
