Clay (Free) to write account summaries and research prospects
Standing out in your prospect’s inbox requires timing, relevance, and personalization.
But how do you scale and automate all three without sounding like an AI-powered robot? By balancing research, signal, and prompt engineering.
Good news: this Claybook uses Claygent, Clay's AI research assistant, to find relevant topics most interesting to your prospects, and Anthropic (natively integrated with Clay) to write eloquent messaging that references those topics.
The result? Timing, relevance, personalization—at scale.
What you can do with this Claybook:
First, copy this template in Clay.
If you’re already a user, you’ll be directed to your workspace. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a free Clay account.
The interactive demos on the right will walk you through each step of this Claybook.
This table includes Claygent research prompts, Anthropic LLM prompts, and two formulas.
You likely won’t need to edit the Claygent and Anthropic prompts, though you can. But you will need to customize the two formulas in the last two columns (LinkedIn message and Final email formulas) since they specifically reference Clay.
Last, simply add first names, last names, emails (optional), and company names into the first four columns of the table and Clay will automate the entire process.
Scale personalized LinkedIn messages and emails that get noticed in your prospect’s inbox.
Simply copy this template, follow the steps above, and let Clay work its magic.
If you have any issue, you can ask for help in Slack or schedule time with a Clay expert.
