What Is LoanTap?
LoanTap is a Pune-based digital lending platform and NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) that provides customized loan products to salaried professionals and small businesses. Founded in 2016 by Satyam Kumar and Vikas Kumar, LoanTap originally focused on personal loans but has since pivoted to supply chain financing for small retailers and MSMEs. The platform has disbursed over ₹1,000 crore in the MSME segment, serving more than 50,000 retailers and financing over 4.5 lakh invoices.
