Getting started with RocketReach

The RocketReach integration in Clay enables users to effortlessly enrich company and contact information, providing access to personal and professional emails, as well as phone numbers.

There are many actions you can do with RocketReach, including:

  • Enrich Company
  • Enrich Person
  • Find Personal Email
  • Find Phone Number
  • Find Professional Email

We'll cover how to connect Clay to RocketReach, then we'll go over each action that is available with RocketReach.

But first let's talk a bit about data enrichment waterfalls.

Getting better email and phone number coverage with waterfall enrichments

RocketReach is great for finding email and phone number contacts, but it's not the only way to get this data.

For better coverage on email data, we recommend using Clay's waterfall enrichments, which will let you search sequentially across multiple data providers.

That said, let's get into it on how to use RocketReach with Clay!

Connecting with Clay with RocketReach

Option 1: Use the Clay-managed RocketReach account

By default, RocketReach enrichments will use the Clay-managed RocketReach account. This means that any new enrichment will charge the designated credit amount.

Simply pull up any RocketReach enrichment within Clay to use the Clay-managed RocketReach account.

Option 2: Add your own RocketReach API key

If you are currently on paid plan (Starter, Explorer, Pro) you can use your own RocketReach account within Clay through an API key.

You can access your RocketReach API key through the Integrations section within your RocketReach app.

Within Clay, you can add your RocketReach API key through the enrichment panel. Below is an example of where to click within the enrichment panel to add your API key.
