Semrush in Clay allows users to retrieve monthly traffic analytics estimates for a specified domain.
Setting up Semrush and Clay
You can connect and pay for your Semrush actions with two options.
- Clay-managed account: Utilize your Clay Credits to pay for Semrush actions.
- (Only available to paid Clay users) Semrush account via API key: Use your Semrush account by entering your API key into Clay.
Available Actions with the Semrush Integration
Action Get Competitors in Paid Search
Use this action to retrieve a domain’s competitors in paid search results using Semrush’s Competitors in Paid Search API.
Setup Inputs
- Company Domain: Enter or select a column containing the company domain (e.g., google.com).
- Country: Specify the country to get paid search competitors from.
- Display Month (Optional): Specify a complete month for analytics in yyyy-MM format. If left blank, the most recent complete month’s data will be used.
Action Get Traffic Analytics
Use this action to retrieve estimated monthly traffic metrics for a specified domain using Semrush’s Traffic Analytics API.
Setup Inputs
- Company URL: Enter or select a column containing the company URL (e.g., google.com, ads.google.com, or google.com/maps).
- Country (Optional): Specify the country for country-specific analytics. If left blank, global data will be returned.
- Display Month (Optional): Specify a complete month for analytics in yyyy-MM format. If left blank, the most recent complete month’s data will be used.
