LeadIQ is a powerful tool for prospecting, allowing users to gather comprehensive information about potential leads, such as contact details, company information, and social profiles.

Setting up LeadIQ

To use the LeadIQ integration in Clay, you’ll need to connect your LeadIQ account by adding your API key. This setup requires a LeadIQ Starter plan or higher, as API access is only available on premium accounts.

Steps to Add Your LeadIQ API Key

1. Go to Settings > Connections in Clay or use any LeadIQ integration panel.
2. Select Add Account.
3. Enter your API key and save.

Available Actions with the LeadIQ integration

Action Enrich Person

The Enrich Person action allows you to enrich contact details for a person based on their name, LinkedIn profile, and associated company. Here’s how to configure each input for optimal results.

Required setup inputs

• Social URL: The social media URL of the person you want to enrich, such as their LinkedIn profile. Example: https://www.linkedin.com/in/example-person/

Optional setup inputs

• Full Name: The full name of the person, such as “John Doe”. This helps in identifying the correct contact.

• Company Domain: The domain of the company where the person currently works or has worked previously. Example: example.com. If targeting a past company, enable the Search Past Companies toggle.

• Email: A known email address for the person (work or personal), which can further aid in data accuracy. Example: example@clay.com.

• Search Past Companies: Set to true if you want to search for this person’s past companies instead of the current one. This is useful if you’re interested in previous positions held.

• Require Verified Work Phone: Set to true to only return results if a verified work phone number is available.

• Require Personal Phone: Set to true to only return results if a personal phone number is available.

• Require Personal Email: Set to true to only return results if a personal email is available.

• Require Verified Work Email: Set to true to only return results if a verified work email is available.

Action Enrich Company

The Enrich Company action allows you to obtain detailed company information by enriching a single company’s profile based on LinkedIn or company domain data. Here’s how to configure each input for optimal results.

Setup inputs

• Social URL (Optional): Enter the social media URL of the company you want to enrich, e.g., https://www.linkedin.com/company/clay-hq.
• Company Domain (Optional): Provide the company’s domain, e.g., clay.com, to pull relevant company data.
• Company Name (Optional): Specify the name of the company to enrich, e.g., Clay. This can be used with or without the domain for flexibility.
