Overview
With Mapbox, you can calculate distances and durations between locations and normalize geographical data for a given location.
Setting up Mapbox and Clay
You can connect and pay for your Mapbox actions with two options.
- Clay-managed account: Utilize your Clay Credits to pay for Mapbox actions.
- (Only available to paid Clay users) Mapbox account via API key: Use your Mapbox account by entering your access token into Clay. To access your Mapbox access token, you can head to the bottom of your account page or on your tokens page.
Available Actions with the Mapbox Integration
Action Find Distance Between Two Locations
Use this action to calculate the distance and estimated travel duration between two specified locations using Mapbox’s Directions API.
Setup Inputs
- Starting Location: Enter or select a column containing the starting location.
- Ending Location: Enter or select a column containing the destination location.
- Mode of Transport (Optional): Specify the mode of transportation (e.g., driving, walking, cycling). Defaults to driving if left blank.
Action Find Distance Between Two Locations
Use this action to convert a given location into standardized geographical data using Mapbox’s Geocoding API.
Setup Inputs
- Location: Enter or select a column containing the location to be normalized.
